In Science this week we began our study of the life cycle of mealworms. We made habitats for them out of wood chips, oatmeal and apples and have been observing them for the past couple of days. This observation will continue for about 5-6 weeks. The kids love it because these plain little worms turn into big black beetles! (which we will release out into Nature's Alley).
